Which state have the most tax procrastinators?  This article by the Wall Street Journal shines a spot light on where the laggards (some would say resistors) are located.  The Lone Star State is in no rush to file taxes.  Houston was number one of the list.  California and Texas cities dominate the list and New York City is the only east coast city. …must be all those bankers!

America's Top Ten Hard Drinking Cities

Forbes has released the results of a study to determine America’s top “hard-drinking” cities. A distinction most cities would not want. Austin, Texas topped the list with 61.5% of adults having at least one drink in the past 30 days, and 20.6% of have had five or more drinks on one occasion. Not sure why they included people having one drink in 30 days. Even five or more in a 30 day period seems kind of moderate to me assuming they are not all chugged on the same night. Maybe it was that that half of Austin enjoyed a beer or glass of wine in the past month? Or maybe that a fifth of Austinians (is that what they are called?) has gotten drunk at one time or another. The Forbes reporters working on this one, did a little too much primary research. Anyway, here are the results…

1.) Austin

2.) Milwaukee

3.) San Francisco

4.) Providence

5.) Chicago

6.) Seattle

7.) Cleveland

8.) St. Louis

9.) Boston

10.) Cincinnati
